When working with students struggling with Executive Function, we use research-based strategies and easy-to-follow methodologies to help students with organization, time management, planning, prioritizing as well as breaking down long-term assignments into manageable parts.
Working in a one-to-one setting, students can enhance their academic and executive function skills in the areas in which they struggle.
My son was struggling with his grades in 5th grade. He worked with Alla during the school year and over the summer on organizational skills, study skills, and test prep to ease test-taking anxiety. She worked at my son's grade level and built a great rapport with him. He was able to apply the skills he learned in the classroom and with his homework and his grades have greatly improved. The best outcome though is he is no longer feeling overwhelmed and has regained a love for learning.
